Baked Pasta
- Rice Pasta
- olive oil
- Roasted Veggies (see recipe) of your choice
- Meat of your choice
- Basil, salt, garlic
1) Basically, roast veggies (see the Roasted Veggies recipe). While they are cooking, boil some water and cook some rice pasta.
2)Undercook the veggies and pasta JUST a little.
3) When everything is done, toss the pasta in with the veggies to suck up the roasted flavour.
4) Take everything and place it into a casserole dish. You may need to drizzle a tiny bit of olive oil on the pasta to stop it from drying out.
5) Throw in some cooked meat, add a few more herbs, put a lid on the casserole dish (very important or else it will dry out) and bake it for another 20 minutes.
For a treat once in a while, I like to cook something that I know will satisfy my hunger. Don't eat too much of this. It will give you a good stomach ache!
You could do this with anything. Add some cooked chicken chunks, tuna or beef if that's your thing. Just be creative.
