Garlic Health Benefits

Garlic is great for most of us. Some people can't tolerate it...because of the sulphur content, or because it's classified as some to be a prebiotic. But for those of you who can, here are two sites that tell you why you should eat garlic.

WholeHealthMd.com

This site has LOADS of information on foods that contain properties to help certain illnesses (see above link).

They also have a wonderful list of descriptions for different types of therapies.

Weston A. Price Foundation

There are hundreds of sites about Soy. This one is from a non-profit site that has some interesting links to articles on soy and the possible dangers of this product.

Food Product Design: New Directions for Cultured Dairy Products

This is a direct link to an article that will tell you how cultured dairy products are made and the benefits to each. If that isn't enough info, try www.backwoodshome.com who give you instructions on how to make your own yogurt and kefir.

Tinkyada Rice Pasta

If you can tolerate rice pasta, this is the best I've ever found. Not only do they offer their pasta in all styles and shapes (and organic as well), it tastes great and is more easily digested (I find) than some other brands. And no, they aren't paying me to say this. I did email them to see if I could use some of their recipes from the site (they often change them and sometimes use "diet friendly" ones), and they said I could use any of them and alter them if needed to suit our dietary restraints. I love this company even more now. Buy their product :)
